Clippr keeps the posts you save from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, reads them for you, and lets you sort them onto boards. This page says what we keep when you use Clippr, why, who else sees it, how long it stays, and how to see, change or remove it.

The short version

  • We don’t sell your information or show ads.
  • Saves are read by AI services only for Clippr. They never train on them.
  • What’s in your saves is hidden from the usage recording.
  • You can delete everything, from the app or from this site, and it’s gone within 30 days.

Who we are

Clippr is made by Usagi Tries, the name Kiela Agustin publishes apps under on Google Play. Kiela Agustin, Metro Manila, Philippines, decides what happens to your information. Questions go to support address not set yet, and you get an answer within 30 days.

What we keep, why, and for how long

Only what Clippr needs to work, and nothing about who you are beyond your Google account.

Your Google name, email and pictureTo sign you in and show it’s youUntil you delete your account
What you save: the link, caption, creator’s name, and a copy of its pictures and the stills Clippr picks from its video. The video and its sound are deleted once they’ve been read. On this test copy, they’re kept 30 days for checking how well Clippr read them, then deletedSo Clippr can show it, read it, and you can find it againUntil you remove it or delete your account
What Clippr reads from it: the words said and shown, and the places, dates and prices they mentionTo make it searchable and put it on a mapAs long as the save
What you add: boards, notes, tags, ratings, reminders, and screenshots or photos you share inIt’s yours, kept as you left itUntil you remove it or delete your account
How the app is used: screens opened, errors, phone model, Android and app versionTo find what’s confusing or broken12 months
The waitlist on heyclippr.com, if you join it: your email, what you’d plan first if you say, who shared the link with you, and the dateTo write to you once when a beta spot opens, in the order people joinedUntil you’re invited, or 12 months
Visits to heyclippr.com: which steps of the page were used and which site sent the visit, with no cookie and nothing about who you areTo see whether the page works12 months
Help improve Clippr: taps and scrolling, with the words in your saves hidden and every picture blockedTo find what’s confusing or broken. On unless you turn it off; in the UK and the EU, off until you turn it on30 days

When you delete your account, everything in it and your Google name and address are removed within 30 days. Backups that still hold it are replaced within a further 30 days.

Who else sees it

A few companies do work for us. Each one may use your information only for Clippr, under its terms with us, and may not sell it or use it for itself.

OpenRouter · an AI serviceUnited States

Reads a save’s words and the words in its pictures, and turns the sound of a video into words, to summarise it. It sends each request only to AI providers that keep nothing, and none of them may train on it.

Groq · an AI serviceUnited States

Reads a save, and turns the sound of a video into words, only when OpenRouter can’t: when it’s down, or this month’s budget is used up. It doesn’t train on it, and may keep it for up to 30 days only to check for abuse.

GoogleUnited States

Signs you in, and finds the places a save mentions on a map. Reads your saves with Gemini only if you add your own Google key.

PostHog · analyticsEuropean Union

Records how the app is used, while Help improve Clippr is on. Words and pictures in your saves are hidden before anything leaves your phone.

The app says “an AI service”. The ones in use are named here, and if they change, this page and its date change first. If you share a board, the people you share it with see the saves on it.

What we never do

  • Sell your information, or share it for advertising
  • Show you ads
  • Let anyone train an AI on your saves
  • Post, like or follow anything on TikTok, Instagram or anywhere else. Clippr only reads what you send it

Where it’s stored

On Clippr’s own server in the Philippines, with a nightly backup copy. Some of the companies above are in the United States. When information about someone in the UK or the EU goes to the Philippines or the United States, it goes under [the European Commission’s standard contract clauses, or the UK’s equivalent: confirm before launch]. If the server moves, this page says so first.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • See and download everything we keep about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your saves one at a time, or your whole account: in the app, You → Delete account, or at Delete your account
  • Turn Help improve Clippr off or on in the app, You → Privacy, at any time
  • Object to anything we do with your information, or ask us to stop
  • Complain to a regulator: the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph), the ICO in the UK, or the authority where you live in the EU

Write to support address not set yet for anything you can’t do in the app. We answer within 30 days and never charge for it. In California, this includes the right to know, to delete, and not to be treated differently for asking.

Why we’re allowed to

For people in the UK and the EU, the law asks us to say why:

  • Reading your saves and keeping your library is the service you signed up for (contract)
  • Help improve Clippr runs on your yes in the UK and the EU (consent), and stops when you turn it off
  • Logs that keep the service safe are in everyone’s interest (legitimate interests)

Keeping it safe

Everything is encrypted on its way to and from Clippr. Every connection to the server comes in through Tailscale, which encrypts it, and no port is open on the network the server sits on. Its backups are checked every night, and only Kiela can open its admin tools.

Children

Clippr isn’t for anyone under 18. If you think a child has an account, write to us and we’ll delete it.

When this page changes

The date at the top changes every time. If what’s sent to be read changes, the app tells you before your next save and asks again.
